You know me as a bilingual career and mental health professional. Or if you haven’t met me, allow me to introduce myself.
For the past three and a half years, I have worked as a mental health counsellor at Frontenac Community Mental Health and Addictions. I also worked for almost ten years as a bilingual Employment and Education Coordinator at the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre, where I presented at seminars, delivered briefings and counselled military members and their spouses.
As a military spouse and as a mental health professional who works as a bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, my role is to help those with a mental illness, including PTSD, return to work.
I want to give back to the military. Let’s talk about PTSD. One step further…let’s talk about mental illness and break down the stigma!
